Sale enhancements

We have now moved our sale feature to our new offers engine. This will allow stores to quickly create discounts for one or more locations using our easy filtering. This will also bring the scheduling feature to product level discounts! One notable change is sales will now appear on the menu as a percentage based discount. This does not change if you set up a flat offer sale.

Before you take advantage of the new sales engine, it is important to remove all existing product level discounts from the products page. We currently will support the existing sales structure in the products page, along with the new sales engine found in Marketing. However, we will be sunsetting this feature and removing the discount field field from the bulk update in a future release.

Alleaves deli-style enhancements

Dispense now supports deli-style offerings from Alleaves. Products that have grams listed as unit of measurement will be considered a deli-style product in Dispense. These products will be mapped to Dispense in the following options: 1g, 3.5g, 7g, 14g, and 28g.

Deli style pricing will be based off the retail value of the 1g option in Alleaves. From there, we will take the price of the 1g weight and multiply it for each weight (3.5g, 7g, 14g, and 28g).

We also allow stores to customize the pricing for each weight tier. To do this, disable pricing in POS settings and manually update these values in Dispense. Please note, when price syncing is disabled, any future pricing changes made to existing items in Alleaves will not sync over to Dispense. Please reach out to your CSM or support if you need some assistance.

Bug fixes

  • Search: We have made improvements to our search engine that address several outstanding bugs.

    • We will continue to make enhancements and release additional bug fixes in the coming days as well.

  • Alleaves: Previously when stores integrated with Alleaves attempted to place a walkup order, they were receiving a medical ID error. We have corrected this to bypass the medical ID expiration requirement we introduced in our last update.

  • When stores did not have QR codes enabled, their customers still saw a note on the confirmation page that said "Use the QR code below to pickup your order". This has been removed on stores that do not have this feature enabled.

  • When customers logged into the stores menu, we were not auto applying their license from their account settings. We have corrected this issue.
