Popup Signup Forms

For full information about what's changed with signup forms, see our previous release notes.

In addition to embeddable signup forms, we now have support for "popup"-style forms. This allows you to put your signup form anywhere (on your website, ecommerce menu, etc.) and have it trigger (or popup) based on user behavior. With this feature comes additional settings such as Loading Delay and URL targeting. See our help doc for more information.

Signup Form FAQs

Q: My signup form is embedded in my website, will I need to update this code upon manual or auto-upgrade?

A: No action needed. If you've already embedded your signup form on a website, for example, it will still work upon upgrade. You will not need to replace it with new embed code.

Q: Will I need to update any signup form settings when they upgrade?

A: No action needed unless you want to use any of the new settings.

Global Branding Settings

We have created a global branding settings page, which will allow you to set brand standards in one spot and have it apply in many places across the AIQ platforms.

  • As of this release, global branding settings will apply to: the new BETA Loyalty App, Signup Forms, Reviews, and Texting Settings.

  • In a subsequent release, we will also extend this to AIQ Ecommerce.

Store Locator Widget [Ecom]

The Store Locator Widget can be used on your main website if you have multiple stores to route the customer to the correct menu. Customers can type in their address and get a list of nearby stores in your organization. If you offer delivery, we will also tell the customer if any of the stores deliver to their address.

Offers: Exclusions + Moved to 'Menu'

  • Offers has moved from Marketing (deprecated) to Menu

  • NEW: Added ability to add exclusions when building offers (e.g. 20% off Pre Rolls, excluding Brand X)

Points Accrual by Opt Status

To drive value of communication channels and encourage opt-ins, retailers can require loyalty customers to opt into one or more specific channels in order to accrue loyalty points. See our documentation for more information and set-up instructions.

Note: this feature is currently in BETA testing, so not all accounts will see it in Loyalty Settings. Please reach out to the support team if you would like to BETA test this feature.

  • Optimization: zeroing points balance when customer opts out is now an optional setting.

Optimizations

  • [ECOM] The Product Carousel Widget now works for any categories, including custom ones.

  • [ECOM] Direct link from product details to that product on the menu. Find the product you want to get a link for, select the more menu (...), click "View Product in Menu".

  • [ECOM] Added filter counts to the menus so customers will know how many products are available in each filter.

  • [ECOM] If a product has a size, this will now be exposed in the offers builder and category builder.

  • [ECOM] We now dynamically fetch the Types by category. Previously, we showed all cannabis types in the filters regardless of what was truly available.

  • [Marketing] Reviews UI has been reskinned to our new design system.

  • [Personas] Updated the Persona > Discounts table to include the 'short description' of the discount.

POS Enhancements

  • [ECOM] Meadow: If total sync is enabled, we now keep loyalty redemptions on ecom. Previously, if a customer attempts to redeem a reward, the discount wasn't applied to the total.

  • [ECOM] TreezPOS: Stores can now decide the type of orders sent to Treez. You can configure In-Store, Curbside and Drive Thru orders to be sent as either pickup or express.

  • [ECOM] POSaBIT: CBD will now be mapped to your products in AIQ when the Cbd lineage is selected in POS.

  • [ECOM] POSaBIT: We will now support multiple images syncing over from POSaBIT (up to five)

  • [ECOM] COVA: When delivery is selected at checkout, we will look to ensure the customers profile has the correct delivery address assigned. If it does not, we will update the delivery address to help speed up in-store operations.

  • [ECOM] COVA: Previously we were creating a new customer each time they placed an order. We updated our logic to lookup the customer first using their phone number. If no matches are found, we will then create the customer.

Bug Fixes

  • [ECOM] The auth parameter for Blueprint now accepts a valid string to log a user in. To log them out, you will need to pass an empty parameter.

  • [ECOM] New area codes introduced at the beginning of the year were throwing errors at checkout has been addressed.

  • [ECOM] When POS integrations throw an error, in some scenarios we were adding another available time slot.

  • [ECOM] Grouped products were sometimes displaying as two different groups of products due to a paging issue, we have revamped this to ensure this does not occur.

  • [ECOM] Fixed an issue causing Google results to display an error when products were out of stock.

  • [ECOM] Fixed our integration with Leafly to ensure products are being updated in Leafly based on their AIQ status.

  • [ECOM] Fixed our integration with Alleaves to ensure pricing does not get zeroed out if products are not returned to us.
