AIQ updates for August 7th, 2024
Multiple Images
AIQ now allows you to enhance your product listings with up to 5 images! Add multiple images to each product and arrange them in your preferred order for an optimal display.
Available Today: Expanded Image Mapping from Select POS Systems
Starting today, AIQ can map up to 5 images from selected point-of-sale (POS) systems that support this feature. If you are using one of these POS systems, simply upload multiple images to your POS, and they will automatically sync with AIQ during the next product sync.
Supported POS Systems:
DutchiePOS
Treez
Alleaves
Blaze
Quantity Thresholds
Previously, for stores using the quantity threshold feature, products were disabled only if an order placed through AIQ e-commerce caused the threshold to be met. Once restocked, stores had to manually re-enable the products.
To streamline this process, we've implemented changes behind the scenes. Now, when products fall below the threshold, they will be automatically hidden from the menu. However, the products will still be enabled in the backend, just filtered out of the menu view. Once the stock exceeds the threshold, the products will reappear on the menu.
To monitor which products are above or below the threshold, use the new Quantity Threshold filter in the products dashboard.
Aeropay Service Fees
In our last release, we introduced service fees for pre-orders. This release extends that capability, allowing you to apply service fees to kiosk orders and payments made after an order is placed.
We have also fixed a bug where the pre-auth wasn't reversed if the order failed during validation checks.
Alleaves Enhancements
When a delivery order is created in AIQ, we will push the start and end time to Alleaves.
Added additional filters to reduce the number of API calls we make to Alleaves.
Bug Fixes
When selecting "back" in the CRM, this brought you back to the orders dashboard instead of the CRM dashboard. We have corrected this.
Products with longer names were getting cut off in the slideout in the orders dashboard. We have increased the width of this column.
For items with a price break pricing structure, we will now show the total weight on the menu instead of the purchase quantity. For example, if you have an eighth (3.5g) setup on price breaks to buy in groups of 1, 2, 4, 8 we will now show this as 3.5g, 7g, 14g, 28g. When the customer adds it to their cart, they will see it broken up into individual units.
