AIQ updates for January 21st, 2025
This update will be available 1/21/25.
Signup Form Redesign
We have redesigned our signup form builder and the forms themselves, updating the UI/UX based on user feedback to both align to our new branding, and to create consistent experiences for you and your end-customers. We have also added some new features!
Note: Your existing signup forms will auto-upgrade on January 21, 2025 . The previous version of signup forms will continue to work as-is upon upgrade, so there is no action needed on your part, however, we are deprecating some features and adding new ones that you can take advantage of - see below.
Popup Forms
In addition to embeddable signup forms, we now have support for "popup"-style forms. This allows you to put your signup form anywhere (on your website, ecommerce menu, etc.) and have it trigger (or popup) based on user behavior. With this feature comes additional settings such as Loading Delay and URL targeting. See our help doc for more information.
Additional Customizations
Ability to reorder fields in the signup form builder
Ability to add a background image or set a background color
Ability to change font colors (e.g. white text if you’re using a background color or image)
Consent Terms: This field will now be WYSIWYG editor to allow for linking, so you can shorten your default text and link to your terms.
Unsupported Features
We will no longer be supporting the following features for signup forms:
Custom CSS: Instead, we will be offering more customization options such as background color/image, and font color.
Custom font sizes: We will add support for this in a future update where you will be able to set global fonts and sizes, then customize per form as needed.
Page Notice: Instead, put any messaging in the Title/Description fields.
Field shadows
Ability to customize signup form via URL (e.g. in-store tablet vs iframe on your website).
Signup Form FAQs
Q: My signup form is embedded in my website, will I need to update this code upon manual or auto-upgrade?
A: No action needed. If you've already embedded your signup form on a website, for example, it will still work upon upgrade. You will not need to replace it with new embed code.
Q: Will I need to update any signup form settings when they upgrade?
A: No action needed unless you want to use any of the new settings. Most everything will map over, but see above 'Unsupported Features' for some features that we will no longer support.
